It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Opal Uldine Parrish (Middletown, Ohio), born in Ramsey, West Virginia, who passed away on November 27, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sons, Roy Kenneth Parrish Jr. and James Alan Parrish, Sr.; her grandson James Alan Parrish Jr.; and her sisters, Lois Kelly and Eva Justice.

She is survived by: her husband Roy Parrish; her daughter Judy Ratliff (Jim); and her brother Clarence Crist of West Virginia. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

“ULDINE AND ROY HAVE BEEN DEAR FRIENDS SINCE OUR BOYS WERE IN PEEWEE FOOTBALL TOGETHER. SHE TOOK ME TO THE HOSPITAL WHEN MY SON BROKE HIS LEG! SHE HELPED ME GET A JOB THAT LASTED 27 YRS! WE SPENT MANY HOURS LAUGHING AND CRYING TOGETHER! I LOVE THESE PEOPLE! ULDINE COULD NEVER DO ENOUGH FOR ME AND EVERYONE, THEY WERE DEAR, HOSPITABLE, FRIENDS, I WILL ALWAYS CHERISH AND HOLD IN MY HEART, MY PRAYERS ARE WITH ROY AND THIS DEAR FAMILY!!”
