She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley Freeze and Louise Freeze (Fraher); her son William H. Schaefer, III; and her siblings, Rosy Mae, Dorothy Francis, Mary Louise, Riley, Jr., Jack and Bill.

She is survived by: her husband William H. Schaefer, II; her daughters, Susan Wittman (Joe) and Nancy Lintzenich; her sister Kay Leach (Danny); and her grandson Noah Rogers (Olivia Tacheny).

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (120 S Broad St, Middletown, OH 45044). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
