Ray Layne Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Layne (Middletown, Ohio), born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Wash Benjamin and Rachel Layne (Wheeler); and his sisters, Stella Miles and Betty Caudill. He is survived by : his wife Carol Layne; his children, Greg Layne (Amy), Lisa Huepel (James), Jeff Layne (Janet) and Tim Layne (Johnna); and his siblings, Jimmy Layne (Margaret), Susie Kouns (Steve), John Layne, Mary Catlin and Jennifer Short. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home (6850 Roosevelt Ave, Middletown, OH 45005). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
