He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Griss and Helen M. Griss (Bewley); and his sister Gladys Lovelace. He is survived by: his wife Mary Griss (Smith); his children, Robin Solazzo and Jeff Griss (Jack Gold); his nephew Tim Brandon; his great-niece Lindsay Cochran (David); his sister-in-law Cathy Hunter (John); his grandson Dave Bell (Melissa); and his great grandchild Jackson Bell.
