He is survived by: his wife Patricia Pate; his children, Wesley Pate, Robin Wilson and Tracey Pate; his grandchildren, Jonathan Plank, Richard Roark (Allison), Lacey Pate and Lindsay Williams (John); his great grandchildren, Kyler Wilson, Mikey Rotundo, Hadley Rotundo, Miley Kitts, Peyton Williams and Leighanna Roark; and his siblings, James "Bo" Lanier, Debbie Fields (late Farrel), Teri Fields (Glenn) and Gail Perry (late Phil). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Baker-Stevens-Paramore Funeral Home (6850 Roosevelt Ave, Middletown, OH 45005).
