He was predeceased by: his father Carl Childers; his daughter Lisa Wagers; and his brothers, Carl, Philip, Jasper, Paul, James, Elmer and Joseph.

He is survived by: his brother Don Childers; and his children, Carl Childers, Sr. (Timmy) and Maria Smink. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; and 19 Great Grandchildren.
