He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph L., Sr. and Arnell Hammonds; his wife Phyllis A. Hammonds (Smith Reeves); his sons, Robert L. Hammonds, Jr. and Jonathan Hammonds; his stepchildren, Douglas Reeves (Ellie) and Brittany Reeves (Will Ray); his siblings, Peggy Zeis (Jeff) and Ralph Hammonds Jr. (Mindy); and his grandchildren, Jonathan Roy Hammonds Jr., Brenna Noelle Hammonds and Anthony Raylynn Hammonds.
