He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Marie Nolan (Karr); his father Robert J. Nolan; and his brothers, Jeff and Greg Nolan. He is survived by: his mother Bernice Nolan (Colmery); his son Robert J. "Bob" Nolan II (Dina); his grandsons, Jonathan and Samuel Nolan; and his siblings, Matt Nolan (Marina) and Sharon Watson.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Clearcreek Baptist Church (4033 OH-123, Franklin, OH 45005). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
