He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy N. Bennett and Lonnie Bennett (Grimmett); his wife Freda Bennett; his great grandchild Joseph Gillis; and his siblings, Madeline Meadows, Lorene Collins, Josie Farley, Bill Fox, Lucille Chewning, Helen Hall, Ashley Bennett and Glenna Parker.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Lycan (Wes), Regina McCoy (Terry), Melissa Sorrell (Bill), Joe Bennett (April) and Beth Stidham (Shawn); his grandchildren, Bobby Sproul, Shane Sproul (Tasha), Katie Burt (Austin), Joey Bennett, Kelly Jackson (Ashley) of Emilee Wall, TJ, Hope Erpelding (Christina), Ashley Arrowood (Gabe) and Samantha Wilson (Nic); his niece Pam Manley (Danny); and his sister Irene Tincher. He is also survived by his fourteen great-grandchildren.
