It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Carris of Middletown, Ohio, born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Spencer and Lillian Spencer (Haven); her husband John Carris; her son Richard Lane; her son-in-law Alex Sharpe; and her siblings, Albert, Gene Spencer and Lucille Stanley.
She is survived by: her children, James Ronald Hasty (Diana), Regina Percifull and Cindy Sharpe; her grandchildren, Jessica, Jamie, Brian, Lacee, Tiffany and Sammy; and her siblings, Dorothy Crockett and Jack Spencer. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; her loving companion and fur baby, "Patches" her dog; and many extended family and friends.
