It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Jean Porter of Middletown, Ohio, who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pitmon and Gail Brotherton; her father-in-law Virgil Porter; and her brother-in-law Eddie Byrd. She is survived by: her husband Jerry; her daughter Krista Henson; her sisters, Vicki Byrd, Leanne Kolbet (Randy) and Tammy Brookbank (Larry); her sisters-in-law, Kathy Haggerty and Bonita LaGesse (Bob); her mother-in-law Ruby Porter; her siblings' children, Nick Byrd (Sheena), Brian Byrd, Jackson Medlock, Grant Medlock and Casey Brookbank; and her great-nephew Easton Byrd.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Ohio's Hospice.
