Klapper of Middletown, Ohio, born in North East, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Shirley departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Shirley leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. "Bob" Klapper; and her siblings, Peggy Martens, Robert Swoger, Richard Spirling, Clifford Swoger and Kenneth Swoger.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Earl "Bobby" Klapper (Yvonne), Angela Renee "Angie" Klapper, William Joseph "Bill" Klapper (Cathy) and Kenneth Marion Allen Paynter (Connie). She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
