He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brandenburg and Daisy Brandenburg (McIntosh); his wife Lois; his son Jeff Brandenburg (Brenda); his siblings, Eugene, Charles, Woodrow, Howard Brandenburg, Pearl Brown, Carrie Edwards and Virginia Allen; his grandmother Knapp; his son-in-law Bob Brewer; and his great grandchild Jasmine Figgins.
He is survived by: his children, Sidney Lee Milby, Rainell Monk (Howard), Joy Brewer and Scott Brandenburg (Linda); his grandchildren, Amy, Randy, Jeff, Renee, Leslie, Wesley, Joel, Nick, Johnny, Ryan, Josh, Jennifer, Toby and Todd; and his nephew Wayne Knapp. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
