He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willard and Mary Walters Prater; his sister Beverly Sue Bailey; and his sister-in-law Rhonda Prater. He is survived by: his wife Terri Caudell Prater; his children, Heather Miller (Sean), Hollie Pfeiffer (Greg), Heidi Zornes, Hillary Williamson (Jeremie), Hope Mings (Greg) and Thomas Lee Prater, Jr. (Kala); and his siblings, James Prater (Twana), Mike Prater and Christie Johnson (Justin). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
