He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Ellis and Margaret Mary Ellis (Bolton); his wife Patricia Ellis (Vicroy); his daughter Amy Ellis; his stepson Brian Knapp; and his sister Jane Waldner. He was also cherished by four grandchildren.
