He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Brookshire, Lori Eagle, Amy Short (Greg) and Tami Moreland; his grandchildren, Molly Lamb (Chris), Hannah Robinson (Kameron), Rachael Brookshire, Victor Eagle (Megan), Erin Bolton (Caleb), Ellen Short (Joe Njeru), Eric Eagle and Sommer Moreland; and his great grandchildren, Archer, Vera, Grant, Lane and Mary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Middletown, 4418 Lewis St B, Middletown, OH 45044.
