He is survived by: his wife Sarojben Patel; his son Nayan Patel; his daughter-in-law Ishita Patel; his grandson Aditya Patel; and his siblings, Dr. Vadankumar Patel (Tennessee) and Joshnaben Patel (United Kingdom).
