She was predeceased by: her parents, Deward Belmont Abney and Opal Land Abney; her husband Walter Lamont Barner; her brothers, Robert and Ralph Abney; and her son James Daniel Barner.
She is survived by: her children, Leah B. Foster (Brad), Amy J. Barner, Timothy R. Barner (Laura Solano) and Jeffrey S. Barner. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
