He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Brayton and Alberta Brayton (Birchtold); and his children, Willian E. Brayton, Jr., Stephen Brayton and Kimberly Brayton.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Brayton; his children, Linda Brayton, Rose Turner and Glenn Brayton; and his stepchildren, Doug Clepper, Larry Fisher, Randy Fisher, Lenard Fisher, Daryll Smith and Ella Strickland. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
