It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Willodene Brandenburg of Midland, Ohio, born in Smithville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James D Brandenburg; her son James Lee Brandenburg; her nephew Raymond Schalk; and her aunts, Lula Mae Wells and Helen Schalk.
She is survived by: her children, Judy A McCray (Floyd "Mac"), Jarrett D Brandenburg, Jeffrey S Brandenburg (Ellen) and John C Brandenburg (Jessie); her grandchildren, Brian K Murray, Joseph R Murray, Jarrett D Brandeburg, Emily E Brandenburg, Jessica Mae Tucker (Brad), Chad M Brandenburg (Kristina) and Jacob D Brandenburg (Angel); and her great grandchildren, Michael J Bennett, Ty D Tucker, Taitum R Tucker, Teigen G Brandenburg, Tobias B Tucker and Tru E Tucker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home - Blanchester Chapel (120 W Main St, Blanchester, OH 45107). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Stone Coal Cemetery.
