It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Leland Sparks of Milan, Ohio, who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frederick Leland Sparks to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Sparks (Felix) and Edwin Sparks; his son Gene Sparks; his siblings, Lucille BeDunnah (Sparks), Eva Delay (Sparks), Raymond Sparks, Gene Sparks, Lawrence Sparks, Clifford Sparks and Robert Sparks; and his son-in-law Dick Sutton.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Feller (Candy), Kathy Sutton, Sharon Bonta (Dean) and Karen Poole (Tom). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hope Baptist Church (15593 US-50, Dillsboro, IN 47018). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hope Baptist Church by mailing to Meyers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 202, Batesville, Indiana 47006.
