He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Dircks (Jean); his daughter Amy Dukes; his son-in-law Mark Kropf; his parents, Raymond Dircks and Ruth Dircks (Miller); his siblings, Karen Willis (Alvin) and Loren Dircks; his sister-in-law Marcia Dircks; Dennis Stout.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie S Kropf (Mark) of Sandusky and Walter L Dircks (Dianne) of Black Mountain, N. C.; his foster daughter Eleanor Stout (Dennis) of Elyria; his son-in-law Roger Dukes of Kentucky; his brothers, Lehr Dircks (Marcia) and Lon Dircks (Gloria); and his grandchildren, Shaun Keefer (Nicole), Cassandra Khalid (Sumair), Kayleigh Snyder (Gregg), Karly Dircks (Cory) and Kelsey Dircks (Tim). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
