It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael James Kurtz of Milan, Ohio, who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Kurtz (Pat Sadler) and Brenda S. Schneider (McBee); and his grandparents, Paul, Dorothy Kurtz and Margaret McBee.

He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Sanders (Andrew); his grandsons, Connor and Ian; his siblings, Kathy Lepar (Ralph), John Kurtz and Tim Meade (Dora); and his siblings' children, Bryanna, Autum, Levi, Jaden and Zack.
