He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Burns and Norma Burns (Scheiderer). He is survived by: his children, Cory Thrush (Michael), Trevor Burns (Michelle), Tanner Burns (Kelly) and Bailey McDowell (Nicholas); his grandchildren, Adeline, Mollie, Henry, Eliza Thrush, Jackson, Noah, Lydia Burns, Connor, Clyde, Cora Burns, Sullivan, Thatcher and Daphne McDowell; his siblings, Gary Burns (Mary), Susan Eickhoff (John) and Sally Eischer (Kurt); his in-laws, Norm, Connie Herron, Bev, Larry Landon, Nancy Scheiderer and Susie Herron; Cathy Burns. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
