He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carrie Mattingly; his children, Benjamin Mattingly, Theodore Mattingly and Brittany Mattingly; his parents, Norma Mattingly and James Mattingly; his siblings, Mike Mattingly, Gary Mattingly (Anita) and Kandi Janke (Bill); his parents-in-law, Harold and Kathryn Layne; and his siblings-in-law, Rene McGill (Bill), Harold Layne (Martha), Anna Maurer (Kurt), Vincent Layne (Denise), Wesley Layne (Liz), Preston Layne (Lindsey) and Naomi Layne. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
