He is survived by: his wife Arnelda Thornton of Milford, Ohio; his children, Sherri Barringer (David) of Milford and Cecil Dennis Thornton of Peru; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Brendon, Nicholas and Kevin. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
