She was predeceased by: her sister Suzie Owens; and her parents, William Self and Helen Self. She is survived by: her husband Tom Hodson; her siblings, Julie Stumpf (Rich), Bill Self (Lisa) and Kelly Stone (Eric); her brother-in-law Chris Owens; her nieces and nephews, Corey, Ryan, Jack, Shelby, Angie and Johnny; and her pets, Ginger and Abbey.
In recognition of Debbie's commitment to fighting rare forms of cancer, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Creeper Trail Ride to End Cancer (CTREC), a cause close to her heart.
