She was predeceased by: her father Charles Sr. Carter; and her brother Charles Carter Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Rinda Carter; her husband Doug Garrett; her children, Christopher Garrett (Ashley) and Megan Burkey (Douglas); her siblings, Jake Carter (Susi) and Rhonda Carter (late Charles Jr.); and her grandchildren, Ella and Maddie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins as well as many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Cookie's honor may be made to Alzheimer's Association , SEM Haven, or Angel Paws.
