He is survived by: his wife Xiaoying Auel; his mother Delma Auel; his daughter Leann McGannon (Brandon); his grandchildren, Harrison and Maylin McGannon; and his sisters, Vicky Mezack (Dave), Sheryl Howard (Jim) and Mary Gregory (Harold). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
