He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Gulden); his children, Ian Patrick and Elise Kathryn; his parents, James Patrick Sheehy and Jean Ann Sheehy (Miller); his mother-in-law Libby Gulden (Theis); his siblings, Michael Sheehy (Donna), Deirdre Mahne (Tony), Tim Sheehy (Catrina), Susan Crowe (Tracy), Frank Sheehy (Kim), Libby Sheehy and Andy Sheehy; and his pet John.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (741 Center St, Milford, OH 45150). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
