He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Sheehy and Virginia Sheehy. He is survived by: his wife Celeste Sheehy; his children, Michele "Shelly" Troll (William) and John M. Sheehy (Amy); his grandson Eric; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Lacey and Atticus; and his siblings, Rose, Patrick, Daniel and Virginia.
