She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hannon and Edna Hannon; her son Gregory Wehrmeyer; and her siblings, James Hannon, Jack Hannon and Patricia Reisiger.

She is survived by: her husband Edwin Carl Wehrmeyer; her children, Dennis Wehrmeyer (Robin) and Stephanie Moore (Mark); and her grandchildren, Eric Wehrmeyer (Dana), Melissa Wehrmeyer and Michael "Bud" Wehrmeyer. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Julia's honor be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
