He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Mae Troolin; his parents, Walter Troolin and Josephine Troolin (Hutflas); and his sister Lois Mullins (Gene). He is survived by: his children, Michael "Mike" Troolin (Catherine) and Patricia "Trisha" Amiott (Lee); his grandchildren, Pamela Saylor (Daniel), Brandi Amiott, Paul Troolin and Hans Troolin; and his great grandchild Lilith Mae Saylor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be given to St Mark's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
