He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn Fenner; and his parents, Rose Hecktor and Pete Hecktor Sr.. He is survived by: his sons, Peter J. Hecktor (Belva) and Timothy A. Hecktor (Sheri); his grandchildren, Christine Hecktor, Andrew Hecktor, Timothy, J. Hecktor (Brandi), Charlie Lenhardt and Kristopher C. Hecktor (Tara); his great grandchildren, Faith, Hopelyn, Kyler, Leo, Bowen and Cooper Hecktor; and his great great grandchild Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Dementia and Alzheimer's Association, an organization dedicated to supporting those affected by these challenging conditions.
