He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Carter and Virginia Carter Sr. (Terry); his girlfriend Brenda McDonald; and his siblings, Cliff Carter, Bev Luti, Pat Parker and Donna Hultz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tanya Carter Richie (late Ben) and Megan Carter Ollis (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Erinn Terrell, William Terrell, Marshall Carter and Mackena Carter; and his brothers, Edwin "Bud" Carter Jr. (Lori) and Tom Carter (Rosie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
