He was predeceased by: his daughter Angie Woods; his grandchild Chris Alford; and his sibling Romaine Theresa Jones. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Delores Barber; his grandsons, Brent Bergman (Amanda Rister) and Daniel Wilson; his great grandchildren, Brent, Bergman and Amy Sue Brock; and his siblings, Francis Clifford Barber, Clarence Paul Barber, Dennis Barber and Kenneth Barber. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.
