He was predeceased by : his parents, William Hart and Helen Hart (Gezo); and his wife Theresa. He is survived by : his children, Richard (Laura), Randall (Penny), Andrew (Jenny) and Amy (Kevin); his brother David (Pat); his sister-in-law Jeannie; his cousins, George Hart, Brad Hart and Kim Hart; and his friend George Shaull. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren; his 10 great-grandchildren.

Marie Nickels wrote a sympathy message

“Ed, via email corresponded with my husband Larry who served in Viet Nam with him. They did a lot of reminiscing over the past few years. Ed was older than Larry and the older vets helped to take care of guys like my husband. I do know he wrote he really missed his wife and now they are together again. Ed was proud of his military service and worked hard at honoring vets. We are sorry for the loss of this Viet Nam vet.”
