Herbert will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Though Herbert is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Herbert’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hinkle and Genevieve Hinkle (Musson); his wife Mary Jane; and his siblings, Carolyn Lajzer (Melvin) and Charles Hinkle (Maxine).
He is survived by: his daughters, Jerilyn Distel (Chip), Sheila Murra (Doug), Melissa Nusbaum (Bryon) and Denise Stacey (Andy Pfotenhauer). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Millbury Car Museum (26929 Cummings Rd, Millbury, OH 43447).
Memorial contributions may be made in Herbert's honor to a charity of the donor's choosing.
