He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wallace and Norma Wallace (Allen); his sister Ruth MacDonald; and his son Mark J. Wallace. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, John R. Wallace III, George Wallace, Kimberly Schacht, Ken Massie (Mellissa) and Teri Contreras (David); his siblings, Leroy Wallace (Deb), Barb Hudson (Gene), Rose Carroll and Norma Jean Kirkum (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Joseph, Rosie Hammonds and Harold Watson (Avon). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
