She was predeceased by : her parents, Doshie Hurst and Arch Hurst; her husband Gerald A Newell; and her daughter Jill Jeanette. She is survived by : her daughter Jeri Jean Newell Palmer (Cary); and her granddaughter Mischa Marissa Crain (Timothy) of Ocala, Florida..
