We announce the death of Scott Alan Hughes of Millbury, Ohio, who passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 62. Scott will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Franklin Hughes. He is survived by: his mother Jeannine Hughes (Sutter); his wife Ruth Brannan; his children, Heidi Miller (Bryan), Casey Hardin (Kyle), Leah Birchall (Ron) and Derek Hughes; his grandchildren, Brayden, Audrey Miller, River, Briar Birchall and Hardin; and his siblings, Brian Hughes (Karen), Cheryl Phillips and Kevin Hughes (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mainstreet Church (5465 Moline-Martin Rd, Walbridge, OH 43465).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to Mainstreet Church/Jamaica Fund.
