He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Barlage and Louise Barlage (Heiing); his daughter Jeanette Barlage; and his brothers, Eugene Barlage (Rose Ann) and Richard Barlage (Sarah).
He is survived by: his wife Donna Westrick; his children, Bonnie Aschemeier (Steve) of Defiance, Kris Cavanaugh (Denny) of Ottawa and Sharon Niese (Greg) of Miller City; and his grandchildren, Nicola Young (Shane), Jesse Wagner, John Wagner (Joy), Alyssa Miller (Brian), Jack Cavanaugh (Makenna), Brent Cavanaugh (Alecia Dunn), Trevor Niese (Kara) and Alaina Niese. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
