He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Hochstetler and Erdine Hochstetler (Gerber); his wife Norma Jean; his brother Lynn Hochstetler of Millersburg; and his brothers-in-law, Don Chaney of Reedsburg, Robert Chaney, Sr. of Millersburg and James Chaney of Millersburg.
He is survived by: his children, Jaymie Hochstetler of Millersburg, Doug Hochstetler (Trisha) of Berlin, Amy Daubenspeck (Russell) of Ashland and Dayna Schrock (Mike) of Walnut Creek; his grandchildren, Allison, Luke Hochstetler, James Daubenspeck, Lauren, Hayley and Tyler Schrock; his great grandchildren, Charlee and Rian Schrock Hill; and his brothers, Donald Hochstetler of Michigan, Ken Hochstetler of Arizona and Stan Hochstetler of Berlin.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Walnut Creek Mennonite Church (2619 County Rd 144, Sugarcreek, OH 44687).
