He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Butler and Florence Butler (Marshall); his wife Ann Delores Lowe; and his siblings, Emma, Eileen, Hazel, Beulah, Martha, Dorothy, Charles, Frank, Russell, Arthur, Ronald, Raymond and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Doug (Rhonda) of Melbourne, Nick of East Lansing, Bob (Kristy) of Newark, Glenna Butler (Scott Jones) of Millersburg, Cindy Mitchell (Shawn) of Orrville and Alisa Butler of Newark; his grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica), Veronica, Greg, Kyle (Brianna), Jake (Megan), Savanna (Kaleb), Shawn (Gina) and Alex; and his siblings, Don Butler (Joyce), John Butler (Marsha) and Alice Bowers (Bob). He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
