He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald O. Thogmartin and Velma J. Thogmartin; and his brothers, Deane (JoAnn) and Bruce Thogmartin (Jane). He is survived by: his children, Merritt "Keith" (Susan), Mark B. (Donna) and De Anna (Jeff Spencer); his grandchildren, Amanda (Dan), Anthony (Melissa), Andrea (Kyle), Ryan (Khali), Jeffrey (Regina), Philip (Sarah), Sylvia (Matt), Sam and Kellam; his great grandchildren, Penny, Reagan, Kihryn, Kwynce, Merritt, Lyric and Coco; and his close friend Timothy Meek. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that memorials be directed to FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc., 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
