He is survived by: his wife Frances Birchfield; his daughters, Della Woodgeard, Toni Paul (Ted) and Sandy Birchfield; and his siblings, Carol Burchett (Jack), Jim Birchfield and Dick Birchfield. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and their spouses, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
