He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eugene and Martha Lee Farson; his father-in-law Robert McCune Sr.; and his close friend Mike Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Sarah McCune Farson; his daughters, Pamela Farson and Cheryl Slone (Brian Emrich); his grandson Donovan Slone; his brother Keith Farson; his mother-in-law Pam McCune; his brother-in-law Robert McCune Jr. (Cynthia); and his close friends, Jim McDonald and Charlie Campbell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hughes Funeral Home (168 Morris Ave, Athens, OH 45701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
