He is survived by: his wife Mary Balch Phillips; his children, Sandy Brown (Danny) of Millfield, Jerry W. Phillips of Miillfield and Rick Phillips (Kim) of Millfield; his stepchildren, Brenda Weekley of Millfied and Leshia Taoy of Georgia; and his sister Judy Goodpaster of Glouster. He is also survived by several brothers in law and sisters in law; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jagers & Sons Funeral Home (24 Morris Ave, Athens, OH 45701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
