With sadness, we share the passing of Sheila Smith of Millfield, Ohio. Sheila, born on September 9, 1951, passed away on September 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Brown and Pauline Bolin Brown; her husband Oris Smith; her daughter Terri Brown; and her siblings, Sharon Smith and Jim Brown.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Kari Lowery of Portsmouth, Jessica Whitmore of Glouster and Caity Brown of The Plains; her great grandchildren, Lucille, Lillian Lottridge, Roger and Ryder Whitmore; her caregivers, Samantha and Jay Winchell; her brother Dan Brown of Millfield; her siblings-in-law, Sandy Brown of Millfield, Warren Smith (Debbie) of Reedsville and Leroy Smith of Millfield; and her sons, H. Willard Love and Minister. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jagers & Sons Funeral Home (24 Morris Ave, Athens, OH 45701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
