We announce the death of James Paul Bitner (Mineral Ridge, Ohio), who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 87. James Paul will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer James and Oleta Bitner; his siblings, Harry, Russel and Darlene; his wife Bonnie; his sons, Doug (Melanie) and Dan (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Madalyn, Logan Wait, Ian, Mitchell and Caroline; and his great grandchild Vada. He was also cherished by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel (1350 N Canfield Niles Rd, Mineral Ridge, OH 44440). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
